Stephen King Unveils Doctor Sleep Spotify Playlist

Doctor Sleep, the long-awaited sequel to The Shining, is on its way to a paperback release on May 22nd and, to celebrate, Stephen King has put together a Spotify playlist.

The selection of songs - most with a country-rock slant and a few comedy songs for good measure - have been selected by King himself to accompany the book and you can listen right below.

King has also released an interactive cover, also below, which enables you to enter a competition to win a signed edition of Doctor Sleep, watch a trailer and also read an extract from his brand new book Mr Mercedes, which will be hitting stores on June 3rd. It was recently revealed that this book has already been optioned for a movie adaptation.
