The stormtroopers are the faceless killing machines of the Empire, but a group of artists have decided to look beyond the uniform, and reimagine their iconic headwear.
Just in time for Star Wars day on May 4th comes a three-day gallery show, entitled "Legion", which sees artists from across Disney - including Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic, Marvel and Pixar - together with street artists and celebrity Star Wars fans chosen by design firm Neff, creating 'Stormtrooper sculptures'.
The results are quirky and very cool; you can see seven preview images below, together with the plain helmet that they were all given to start with (sadly, this won't be available to buy).
The exhibition takes place at the Robert Vargas Gallery in LA, running May 2 through to May 4th - more information can be found here.
