Favourite club anthem
"There's so many tracks I could pick for this but one of my favourite club tunes of recent years is a track called Inspector Norse by Todd Terje. This song always creates a great vibe in a club."
Favourite sad song/ballad
"Close - My Way feat Joe Dukie (Tanner Ross and Slow Hands remix) - this is an amazing track that my friend introduced to me whilst I was on holiday this summer, it reminds me of chilling in the middle of the Ibiza countryside. Kinda like a less abstract James Blake, it features Joe Dukie from Fat Freddy's Drop."
Favourite movie soundtrack song
"'A Real Hero' from the Drive soundtrack is such a perfect song for the film. Love that 80s soundtrack feel in general and am very into classic old soundtracks like Bladerunner and Scarface."
Favourite song from your childhood
"I can't remember my favourite song as a kid, although I do remember being very into Michael Jackson at one point. Could be anything off Bad, I'm going with Smooth Criminal."
Favourite song that no-one else has heard of
"It's not particularly obscure but I've been really into this track called BIPP by Sophie lately, it's just a really innovative sounding electronic track, no beats, just bass and vocals."
Favourite one hit wonder
"Beats International - Dub Be Good To Me; pretty sure this was their one big hit but band member Norman Cook went on to be better known as Fatboy Slim - a 90s classic."
Favourite lyric from a song
"'I can't kick this feeling when it hits' from I Want Your Love by Chic. I saw them play live at Roundhouse the other day and this line always stands out as the coolest lyric.Very much looking forward to bringing my live show to Roundhouse later this month."
Favourite song currently in the top 40
"Gotta be my buddies Chase and Status with Count On Me. Love the 90s vibe of the track and it's always nice to see my friend's songs doing well."
Favourite song from your own music
"Hard to pick a favourite but of my recent stuff Safe in Sound is one of my faves, from my new album Torus. This one seems to be getting a great reaction online and in the clubs."
