The new Huntsman line is all about interplay
Steeped in custom-made history and tradition, Huntsman is carving a niche as a contemporary heavyweight in the rebirth of Savile Row. Under the guidance of creative director Roubi L’Roubi, the label once favoured by royalty is now appealing to the modern executive, with a relaxed wardrobe of tailored separates.
It ticks all the boxes on home turf, too, with mid-weight suits and classic sports jackets perfect for polo at Guards, Wimbledon or Goodwood. Tailoring has been kept classic and true to Huntsman’s heritage, with subtle details such as half linings and patch pockets.
L’Roubi has kept colours neutral and lines simple for his second collection at the Huntsman helm. Separates such as sports jackets and lightweight wool trousers in shades of blue, beige, oatmeal and grey interplay perfectly. Cloths for the six jackets and four suits range from textured weaves to worsteds. Ideal for summer in the city.
