Lego is useful for three things: distracting children, inflicting crippling damage to exposed feet and supplying men with unparalleled levels of nostalgia.
The models of talented brick builder Chris McVeigh supply bucket-loads of this final use (and probably the second, though we'd rather not find out).
When he's not designing t-shirts or taking photographs of toys, McVeigh dedicates his considerable talents to creating detailed builds of miniature holiday decorations, food and - our particular favourites - retro gadget gems.
As a true Lego fan, McVeigh hasn't kept these immaculate creations to himself - anyone itching to have a go can find full guides to each model on his website. And for those of you who've misplaced that vital two-by-four grey brick, you can buy ready made versions from McVeigh's store.
