Luxury high fashion worn by royalty meets hyped streetwear copped by kids who spend their pocket money on bad weed. It shouldn’t work, but Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with skate apparel brand Supreme definitely does.
Louis Vuitton’s AW17 show presented in Paris saw the iconic French fashion house collide their iconic LV logo with Supreme’s ultra-slick branding across a number of casualwear styles, which look more heavily influenced by the streets of contemporary New York rather than the Parisian decadence we’ve come to expect from Vuitton.
The capsule collection features a heavily duo-branded denim workwear jacket, button-up short sleeved baseball shirt, bright red bomber jacket, smooth white trainers, and probably the most exciting, a plethora of premium bags, consisting of miniature stash bags, leather backpacks, clutches and a holdall.
There’s no word on when this range is to be released, but be prepared to lineup in the cold for hours or else get seriously into your overdraft on eBay.
