Ever find yourself breathlessly trying to keep pace with the modern world? You are not alone. However, it’s comforting to know that the more things change, the more they stay the same – neat epigram, surprising no-one has used it before.
As arbiters of fashion tradition, we’re jolly pleased to discover that British men think that being fitted for a tailored suit is the ultimate fashion experience.
Of course, we didn’t glean such information by going out and asking lots and lots and lots and lots of chaps ourselves – we’re far too busy laughing at divers and awkward holiday photos to do that. No, we left that to our chums at AskMen, who have been busy compiling their fifth Great Male Survey.
Among such choice titbits as 42 per cent of men would consider dumping their partner if they got fat (that’s the bad 42 per cent of men we hasten to add) and 51 per cent of men being satisfied with their sex lives (liars), 62 per cent of you felt that being fitted for a tailored suit was the fashion/grooming experience you should have at least once in your lives.
Obviously, more of you look towards Cary Grant rather than N-Dubz for sartorial inspiration, and for that we can only be truly grateful. Now have a word with yourselves about ditching lardy ladies. That just isn’t cricket.
