It always feels slightly strange seeing behind the scenes of a famous company, like going on a movie set or inside the dressing room of Premier League football team. You shouldn’t really be there but it’s fascinating.
Mark Zuckerberg announced this week that Facebook had moved into their colossal new 430,000-square foot warehouse office, designed by Frank Gehry.
The building is essentially one giant room, which apparently is the largest open plan in the world. That’s meant to be a good thing, we think.
On his Facebook page Zuckerberg wrote, "The building itself is pretty simple and isn’t fancy…that’s on purpose. We want our space to feel like a work in progress. When you enter our buildings, we want you to feel how much left there is to be done in our mission to connect the world."
The company then allowed top Instagrammers to document the new site before it opened and here are the entirely un-jealous-making results.
No one has seen Mark for three days
