The echoed chomp of quaffing on a Big Kahuna burger. The gigantic slurp washing it down with a tasty beverage. The gurgle of a victim as a razor-sharp samurai sword meets their throat sending a jet stream of blood onto the nearest wall?

It’s fair to say that without sound, some of Quentin Tarantino’s most iconic scene might not be as revered as they are today. The man's had a knack for honing in on a specific sound for extra impact.

Every major squelch, bang and cackle has been included, starting with the clanking of those chains which confined Django to slavery. From there the video rapidly shifts to more familiar Tarantino patterns (close-ups on flicking cash, the slow-mo moment an axe or sword aims for its target, the chest-bursting shot of a bullet making its bloody entry) as a crescendo of sound and violence takes hold - much like a Tarantino film, to be fair.
