Tetris-playing business card

Business cards. Ideal for use as a bookmark, tiny notepad or for wedging under uneven table legs. Finally, someone has given them an attention-drawing redesign.

The creation of technical designer Kevin Bates, this is the Arduboy - a Gameboy-esque business card that allows recipients to play retro arcade games such as Tetris.

Built out of an Arduino board, the card houses a tiny OLED screen, capacitive input buttons and piezo speakers - all low energy components that allow up to nine hours of gaming. Bates proposes that those looking to do business install information such as contact details or a full CV on the Arduboy, before leading to a game of Tetris.

Bates is currently perfecting his design before launching a Kickstarter campaign to mass-produce the card. If successful, you'll be able to purchase a 'build your own' kit for around £18 ($30) or a ready assembled version for £30 ($50).

Head over to Bates' site to for more on the project.
