The days of the doghouse being a place of punishment are over. Your furry friend will be begging to be banished to this.
Samsung Electronics has unveiled a £20,000 dream doghouse ahead of their sponsorship of the annual Crufts dog show, which begins tomorrow (Thursday 5 March).
It took six weeks to build and features a paw-operated snack dispenser, hot-tub spa, dog treadmill, a brand new wall mounted Tab S screen for two-way communication with their humans, a push-to-woof call system, bespoke wallpaper featuring a designer 'paw and dog bone' print and framed portraits of previous Crufts winners, in order to give its occupant a bit of aspiration.
Andy Griffiths, President of Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland, said: "with the Samsung Dream Doghouse, we wanted to reflect the nation’s growing trend for using technology. From dogs who have social media profiles to owners who use video calling to check on their pet while away, technology is fast becoming an integral part of everyday life."
You'll be able to view the dream doghouse at the event, which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from tomorrow. Just don't be tempted to try and move in there yourself.
