Everyone likes to wear a nice, stylish belt - we understand that. But would you pay £300,000 for the privilege. We're not so sure.
Nonetheless, this belt buckle, the 'Predator' ("because it eats up every other belt buckle out there") Calibre R822, created by Swiss designer Roland Iten is, truly, a magnificent creation.
It has 167 components - making it similar in complexity to a watch - and is made of 18 carat white gold and titanium, set with 387 baguette and round-cut diamonds, with a total carat weight of 14.15ct. It's 100% Swiss-made and is equipped with 16 self-cleaning tracks wheels, with a tensioner and a dampener on ball bearings to ensure smooth operation.
It retails at an astonishing 450,000 Swiss Francs (£293,500) and only three of them will be made. Oh, and it doesn't include a belt. There will be non-diamond version coming soon, but you'll still be looking at a fairly hefty price tag. Still, you can't put a price on style can you?
