Yes, it's just another teaser, but goddamit if this doesn't get you excited for Trainspotting 2, then we're not sure what will.
To the strains of Lust For Life, this new clip shows the returning actors in new footage for the first time as they recreate a shot from the original film, with a local Scottish train passing in front of them, leaving the older (but almost certainly not wiser) Renton (Ewan McGregor), Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller) and Begbie (Robert Carlyle) lined up, like the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
The film will be loosely based on Porno, Irvine Welsh's 2002 sequel to Trainspotting, but it's expected that director Danny Boyle will be adding his own elements too. Shooting began on 16 May, with the film due to hit cinemas 27 January next year.
2016 may have been a shocker, but 2017's shaping up be much, much better - let's hope it can live up to the weight of expectation and be a worthy successor.
