Well, we've been missing a good old silly action-packed Saturday afternoon TV show since The A-Team called it a day, so this very much fits the bill.
Deadline are reporting that Sylvester Stallone's hit movie franchise The Expendables is heading to television. Fox is developing it with Stallone down to write, star and executive produce, while Avi Lerner produces and Shane Brennan acts as showrunner.
The Expendables has already spawned three hit movies that, collectively, have grossed almost $800m (£526m) worldwide. The TV version has been described as a "fun action drama", that will feature iconic TV stars in a new highly-skilled heroes who are tasked with a mission to stop a terrorist.
Two more Expendables films are already in the works too, alongside a female spin-off, The Expendabelles (now that's a pun we'd have been proud of).
There's no cast yet, but Deadline has already suggested that the likes of 24's Kiefer Sutherland, Chuck Norris (who is already in the movies) and, of course, The A-Team's Mr T could all be potentially approached.
