Darts has never been more popular, but one thing which has remained resolutely old fashioned is the trusty old dartboard itself. But that's about to change.
We propose the immediate adoption of this brilliant Tron-style extreme laser dart board, designed by Seonghyun Kim and Yunjo Yu. It's created via a central adhesive disc, stuck on a flat surface, which fires lasers out around 360 degrees to create the board. The darts can be colour coded and divided between teams (select how many by choosing an option on the disc), and stick to the 'board' via special glue, rather than the traditional sharp needles found on normal arrows - useful for when those pub games descend into angry disagreements.
Sadly, this is presently just a concept design so you can't get your hands on it quite yet. But give it a few years and we hope to see Phil 'The Power' Taylor and Raymond Van Barneveld striding to the oche in neon suits before embarking on another epic battle using one of these.
