Someone might want to tell Grimsby tourist board to pack up now.
Having single handedly destroyed the reputations of Staines (now ‘Staines-upon-Thames of course) and Kazakhstan, Sacha Baron Cohen is back, and this time it’s for Grimsby.
Starring as an idiotic England football hooligan with 11 kids, the comedy sees Cohen’s dim-witted thug, Nobby, reuniting with his long-lost brother, Sebastian, a deadly MI6 agent aiming to prevent a global terror attack, played by Mark Strong.
In the first teaser trailer for the film, it’s more Call of Duty than The Football Factory as we follow Strong’s high-tech super soldier into battle in first-person view as he skirmishes his way around a dusty, desolate warzone.
Then again it might just be Grimsby.
