One-armed men beware: The Fugitive is headed back to the big screen.
While there’s no word on whether this will be a sequel to the 1993 thriller which starred Harrison Ford or simply a reboot of the classic US TV series that ran for 120 episodes in the mid-sixties, you can be pretty sure it will involve a) Dr Richard Kimble going on the run and b) his adamant plea he didn’t do it.
No stranger to long-awaited sequels of course, Ford, who’ll be piloting the Millennium Falcon again later this year, will be heavily tipped to return to the fold. Additionally, we wouldn't mind a reunion with Tommy Lee Jones, who bagged an Academy Award for his performance as Deputy US Marshall Samuel Gerard in the last film and subsequently reprised the role for 1998’s underrated US Marshals.
Hell, why don’t we just remake the original shot-for-shot with the same cast but all a bit greyer? We'd pay to see that meta masterpiece.
