After the huge success of The Inbetweeners Movie and before the predicted success of Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, another small screen comedy star is making the move to the big screen,
Harry Hill, most recently known for presenting Harry Hill's TV Burp yet still strongly associated with Tamsin Archer badger, is hoping his offbeat humour is as popular in the multiplex and is starting production on The Harry Hill Movie.
The expectedly bizarre plot follows a man stalked by a crazed vet while on a road trip with a sick hamster. Oh and he also falls in love with a "shell person" at some point. Hill claims it's based on a true story and will feature singing and dancing.
The rather impressive supporting cast will feature Julie Walters, Simon Bird, Jim Broadbent, Matt Lucas and Julian Barratt while Steve Bendelack (Mr Bean’s Holiday) will take on directing duties.
Hill is also writing an X Factor musical called X Factor - It’s Time To Face The Musical! Yes, really.
Production starts next week with a release to follow later in the year.
