Anyone who's stuck their iPhone in a (preferably empty) pint glass will have a good idea of how a passive amplifier works. By increasing the amount of air the iPhone's small speaker has to push around, the Ovo makes your tunes louder without need of wires or Bluetooth.
Compatible for the iPhone 5s or 6, you can lean or lie the Ovo in desk-filling positions.
But carving a speaker out of a single block of Carrara marble doesn't come cheap - at around £250, plugging your phone into something electronic will probably be a lot cheaper.
