In the cult classic Five Easy Pieces, Jack Nicholson stars as an upper-class pianist who sticks his finger up at his promising future and runs away to work as a labourer in the oil fields of middle America.
As a poster boy for alienated thirtysomethings, Nicholson's character became an icon of 70s cinema.
He also helped to make both pianists and labourers seem really rather cool. He combined an artist's mind with the rugged nature of a grafter. Inspired by this, the Edwin SS11 Collection has delivered a look which reflects this and can make you feel like you're salt of the earth while you're heading to that new gallery opening.
Pieces include the all-suede ‘Amp Tramp’ Bomber, the ED-35 classic loose fit jeans and the button down striped captain shirt.
