The Apple rumour mill is in full effect. Here’s what we’d like to see
Curved screen
This one’s pretty much nailed on. The iWatch will have a curved (or flexible) 1.5in Gorilla Glass display that hugs your wrist.
Autumn launch
“Absolutely,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook when asked if there’d be a new ‘category’ launch this year. Unless he’s referring to a cloaking device, that means the iWatch.
‘iPay’ tech
The iWatch could double as a biometric, touch-to-pay device, unlocking the potential for 500 million iTunes accounts to be linked to users’ credit cards. Dangerous.
TV power
The prototype battery lasted just 2-3 days, so Apple is experimenting with tech that harvests TV signals to power it.
Instant shish
The Healthbook app tracks hydration. Thus, it knows if you’re well-lubricated, and could potentially locate the nearest takeaway and place an order.
