Liam Neeson has a very particular set of skills; skills which he’s acquired over a very long acting career. Skills that make him a nightmare for extras playing thugs in action films.
Because if he’s not throat-punching his way across Europe on the trail of some young kidnap victim, he’s dispatching justice in the way only an angry middle-aged man can on some other continent. In other words, he’s murdered a lot of people in a lot of films.
For his latest action role, in A Walk Among The Tombstones, he’s firmly on US shores, playing a grizzled man hired by a drug trafficker to find who kidnapped and murdered his wife.
To mark the film's 19 September release, some clever marketing bods at EOne have designed this brilliant kill map, plotting exactly where the Northern Irishman has slain people via his on-screen antics.
And not only leather-glad goons, either - between battle-droids and wolves; it seems no species is safe from the cinematic rampage Neeson is currently on.
