It's one of those books that folk called "unfilmable" but in the year that's also bringing us the big screen adaptation of the equally tough On The Road, Yann Martel's Life of Pi is finally hitting cinemas.
The best-selling novel about a boy stranded on a boat with a tiger has been adapted by Brokeback Mountain director Ang Lee, who's been out of the spotlight since the poorly-received Taking Woodstock in 2009.
We've just got our hands on a brand new trailer which hints at some rather epic visuals and suggests that it will be one 3D film worth putting on those glasses for.
It stars newcomer Suraj Sharma, Gerard Depardieu and Tobey Maguire.
