The Louis Vuitton Tambour eVolution

Overlords of the luxury luggage sector, name-checked in 99 per cent of Kanye West’s back catalogue, and generally considered the planet's finest fashion brand: there’s not an awful lot Louis Vuitton can do wrong, really.

The latest proof of this is the Tambour eVolution Spin Time GMT, which, despite sounding like a supercar, is the brand's latest stamp on the homological arena, already billed as a ticking ode to the high-class globetrotter.

Its ruggedly lightweight dial makes clever use of the brand’s patented Spin Time movement, displaying time by using 12 rotating cubes each working around a rotating staff that turns a quarter rotation twice a day.

Futhermore, it's masterfully finished with a stitched black alligator and calfskin strap, along with an 18-carat pink gold buckle.

With a release planned for select Louis Vuitton stores later this year, you’ll find us impatiently tapping our interim wrist-fodder until it arrives.
