Picture this: you're on the Tube to work and some crafty commuter invades your personal space just to read the time from your watch, all because he's left his at home.
If this sounds annoyingly familiar, thankfully there is a solution. The Kisai Maze timepiece by Tokyo Flash scuppers any chance of fellow travellers getting too close, as the time is hidden in negative space (bonus points for looking like Nokia's Snake).
So, how do you read it? Apparently, after a while your eyes will adjust and you'll be able to tell the time easily (a bit like magic eye, we can only assume). However, if you do find it too tricky, you can press one of its buttons on the left to reveal the figures (video below gives a further explanation).
The watch is available in stainless steel or IP Black and there's an EL backlight too. Prices start from £86 ($139).
