Usually a dry discussion point between track day enthusiasts and touring competitors, it's these racing-changing details replicated in your living room that promise set to shift Project CARS from a 'good' to an 'incredible' driving simulator.
The latest trailer for the (much delayed) racer shows off a selection of the 30-something locations that have been recreated by the team of Slightly Mad Studios. Tarmac shimmers, foliage sways and the British drizzle looks superbly dank.
At least we're going to have something nice to look at as we ditch another lap in the gravel traps. But who knows - there could be nothing under the bonnet of this graphical powerhouse. We'll have to wait and see.
Project CARS is due to arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PCs in mid-May
