Well this is fun.
Facebook now supports 360-degree videos - a major new feature that heralds a future in which the social network will ditch words for moving pictures, push more content to its Oculus Rift VR headsets and transport us from our homes to distant worlds.
Or, in this first instance, galaxies far, far away.
The latest clip of Star Wars: The Force Awakens takes advantage of Facebook's new feature by allowing viewers to 'scroll' around the footage with your mouse (or by moving your phone, if you're going mobile). As a speed bike ploughs through the ruins of a Star Destroyer, you can flick your way around, viewing the desert beyond.
Does it reveal anything about The Force Awakens? Not really.
Is there much to this immersive gimmick? Again, nope.
Will you spend the next five minutes replaying the video to scroll around different sections of the footage? Almost certainly.
