You might have noticed that we're a bit, ermmm, into pizza at the moment. Our search for the UK's finest continues in earnest and we're always intrigued to see a different spin on the standard cheese and tomato classic.
So this excites us. Little Caesars, a pizza chain in the US, has created a pepperoni pizza with one brilliant twist: the crust has been replaced with a pretzel. Now breathe.
The 'Soft Crust Pretzel Pepperoni Pizza' utilises a buttered and salted soft pretzel crust with a cheddar cheese sauce base topped with Asiago and Fontina (both Italian cow's milk cheeses), a blend of Parmesan and cheddar and pepperoni.
So yes, there's no tomato sauce which might upset the purists out there. We're not complaining but then we're giddy with hunger at this time of the day.
It's available from September 1st so if you're in the US, FedEx us a slice, yeah?
