What’s the story: Paying homage to both Bruce Springsteen and LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip has fused together eighties classic Dancing In The Dark with All My Friends, two songs they’re already known for playing live, in a wonderful flurry of high tempo electronica. Once you’ve got over the video’s retro infomercial parody and scarily high moustache and mullet ratio, you’ll be as entranced as Courtney Cox was with The Boss back in the heyday as that infectious beat renders you powerless. A real gem.
