Despite all of the, you know, child torture, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory provided us with a seemingly endless wish-list of impossible delights. But first, the lickable lift actually became a thing and our pessimism was replaced by frantic hope.

Now, it seems that we're one step closer to reaching our childhood dream. The 'TV dinners' set of gumballs offers up three courses, aping the gum that Violet Beauregarde mistakenly tried in the film.

But while she ended up turning into a giant blueberry, this trilogy of sweets shouldn't have such a dangerous effect. Aiming to recall a classic American TV dinner, the flavours are buttered corn, roast beef and apple cobbler.

We'll be honest, perhaps the apple cobbler one is the only flavour which wouldn't make us feel a bit sick.
