When Bill Finger and Bob Kane first introduced the world to Batman in 1939, little did they realise the legacy their character would go on to foster. Seventy five years of comics, toys, films and animated series would follow, gaining the Bat legions of fans. Yet despite encounters with numerous superb villains and a library of complex story lines, few video games have been able to do justice to the Dark Knight - with a notable exception.
Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Asylum was a triumph of the action-adventure genre, blending engrossing puzzles, combat and storytelling in a title that won legions of fans. When Batman: Arkham City arrived two years later, every aspect of the award-winning game seemed to have been polished, improved and expanded.
While we wait for Rocksteady's caped crusader to return in the eagerly anticipated Arkham Knight, we thought we'd pay tribute to the first two instalments by compiling a fiendishly difficult quiz.
