With the weather almost allowing us a steady stream of sunshine, thoughts are immediately turning to one of life's greatest creations: the beer garden.
But while sipping a beer in the great outdoors is an unbeatable luxury, the hot weather often prevents the experience from being truly perfect. Why? Two words: warm beer.
Help is almost at hand. Over in Japan, the geniuses working behind Kirin have created the ‘Ichiban Shibori Frozen Draft’ which is your regular pint of delicious beer but with frozen foam on top.
This means that the frozen beer has a temperate of -5°C and it can keep your drink ice-cold for up to 30 minutes.
Okay so here's the bad news. It's only available in Tokyo at the moment, with a nationwide expansion happening this summer. Summer in Japan anyone?
