Although the dystopian sci-fi sub-genre has been going strong since the 70s, Children of Men seemed to hit a bit closer to home than others that came before. Probably due to its lack of fantastical creatures, its documentary-like realism, or the fact that it is actually set in our native United Kingdom. Adored by those who saw it during its initial 2006 release, Children of Men never received the audience it deserved at the box office - failing to even recoup its budget. Complete and utter madness if you ask us.
But since you've seen it and love it, that can't be attributed to you can it? And if you've seen it and love it you should take our ultimate quiz.
