The Jam are undoubtedly one of the greatest and most influential British groups of all time. Emerging in the punk and new wave era of the late 1970s, they led the mod revival, with their power trio lineup of Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler producing six studio albums and a string of hits, before splitting to pursue other projects whilst still at the peak of their powers.
To celebrate their career, a new vinyl box set is being released, entitled 'The Studio Recordings'. An 8-piece box set, featuring all six studio records remastered on vinyl, plus two extra discs of non-album singles and B-sides, together with a hardback book with new liner notes and an introduction written by the modfather himself, Paul Weller, this is an essential purchase for all Jam fans, old and new.
