No Country For Old Men is rightly regarded as an all-time classic, and yet another triumph for the Coen brothers - Joel and Ethan. The 2007 movie won four Oscars and two Golden Globes along with a host of other awards, cementing the directors' place in movie history.
Adapted from the Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name, No Country For Old Men saw stellar performances from the evergreen Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin and relative newcomer Javier Bardem - who was cast as hitman Anton Chigurh, despite hating violence, having no gun-toting experience, not speaking English well and being unable to drive. He didn't do badly, all things considered.
