Siouxsie Sioux and her fellow Banshees emerged in the beginnings of punk in 1976, playing a gig before they had any songs. They went on to become one of the most loved, well-respected and influential bands of all time, being cited by everyone from LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy to Radiohead, U2, Bloc Party and many more as a crucial inspiration for their own work.
Before disbanding in 1996, they released eleven studio albums: the final four of these - Through The Looking Glass, Peepshow, Superstition and The Rapture have been remastered and will be rereleased on October 13th. Expanded with bonus and unreleased tracks and featuring extensive new sleevenotes, the records have been remastered from the original multi-track tapes, ensuring the highest quality possible. The final chapter of their career saw a period of bold experimentation, as they made strides in the US as well satisfying their always faithful fanbase in the UK.
