Need to get some practice in ahead of the 2015 Grand IKEA Furniture Assembly Championship? We've found you the perfect video game to help you get your eye in.
Unfortunately, while no such event exists (though we're seriously considering setting up a regional competition), Höme Improvisåtion is very much a real, playable experience.
Built for the game creation event Global Game Jam 2015, this IKEA-inspired title was by design team The Stork Burnt Down in an astonishing 48 hours.
The concept is simple: attempt to construct flatpack furniture by picking up, rotating and slotting together individual pieces in a virtual living room. All the connections can fit together, so there's plenty of opportunity for confusion. As you build more furniture, even more kits are delivered to add more chaos with increasingly complex designs.
To realise the full potential of this ridiculous game, you have to invite friends over to build with the mutliplayer option. It's like The Sims, but with all the joy sucked out of it.
You can play Höme Improvisåtion here or even download it for free, though The Stork Burnt Down team would request you consider donating to the Tony Tseng memorial fund.
Happy building.
