Have you ever hoovered your flat and thought "damn, I wish I had a closer connection with my vacuum cleaner"? Anyone? Anyone...?
Well, despite your apathy to the idea, Sharp have only gone and created a strange gadget that cleans your carpet while also communicating with you.
The Cocorobo (might need work on the name) has been built with both artificial intelligence and speech recognition so you can find yourself having a genuine conversation with your vacuum cleaner. Apparently it also suffers from mood-swings so the more you use it, the happier it'll be.
It also has a camera so you can follow its every worrying move via your smartphone.
The terrifying piece of equipment is expected to be released next month over in, you guessed it, Japan and will torture pets all around the world soon after, priced at around $1,600 (£992).
