Get your coat. The who's who of dining lists has been announced and we've worked up quite the appetite.
The results of Restaurant magazine's annual countdown of eateries were announced at a glamorous event last night (we can't imagine the pressure the catering staff were under), refining the opinions and experiences of 900 international industry experts to form the most important roll call of the dining industry. Oddly, we weren't asked to contribute.
René Redzepi's Copenhagen-based Noma topped the list, having previously grabbed the number one spot in 2010 and 2012. Last year's winner, the three Michelin Star rated El Celler de Can Roca, dropped to second place. Two British restaurants made it into this year's top ten, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal climbing from last year's 7th to 5th, while Brett Graham's The Ledbury rose from 13th to 10th. The only other UK table to make it onto the list was Blumenthal's other venue, The Fat Duck.
To see the full 50, head over to The World's 50 Best site. The top ten - or rather, the restaurants you'll be saving up to get onto a waiting list for - are as follows.
