There's always one. That matured boy scout, lurking in the corner near the nibbles, just waiting for someone to ask for a bottle opener. As soon as the request cuts through the party playlist, he springs forth and proceeds to open the metallic cap with little more than a pen/tooth/eyelash. And we've got no idea how he does it either.
However, the dexterous Swiss Army guest is set to be threatened with redundancy thanks to a keyring that's hooking a lot of interest on Kickstarter: the PiCO.
Made from stonewashed titanium, the PiCO is smaller than a 10 pence piece, allowing it to sit conspicuously amongst your selection of keys.
Requiring a keyring to gain the required leverage, anyone who boasts the secret knowledge of how to open a beer with a lighter might find the PiCO redundant. For the rest of us, it's a neat solution that's going to be pretty handy once the warm weather (eventually) arrives.
Having opened up its Kickstarter funding target like a proverbial tool for gaining access to things, you can order a PiCO for around £8 right here.
