Life, as much as we'd like to pretend it isn't, is formulaic. From small talk to action blockbusters, there are certain tropes that crop up repeatedly. Things that we barely even notice but subconsciously have come to expect. Illustrator John Atkinson is a man that is painfully aware of these things.
