Awesome dad builds son a Ghostbusters proton pack out junk

Remember that time your dad accidentally said he loved you after one two many sherries at Grandma's annual Christmas Eve do? Well sorry, but that memory is about to be crushed. Your father isn't - as the mug you bought him on the third Sunday in June in 1998 so carelessly suggests - the world's best dad. Imgur user pics4internet is. 

The user has posted images of a proton pack he made for his son on the site, writing: "The goal was to finish the project in one weekend, primarily use ‘free’ materials found around the house, create something that approximated the proton pack, and keep it light enough for my son to wear comfortably." Look at all the different layers of love and care going on there.

To make the pack, the dad in question used old toy cars, a frisbee, a skipping rope, Nerf guns, a peanut butter lid, a Tic Tac container, and toilet paper tubes among other household objects. Here are a few photos he shared of how it's done, as well as the incredible finished result.
