These people just played a first person shooter on ChatRoulette
These people just played a first person shooter on ChatRoulette
Two things will strike you as remarkable about this story.
1) Realm Pictures took the effort to create a first-person 'video game' experience for a bunch of random people on the internet with no assurances that they'd hang around to play it.
2) people are still using ChatRoulette.
The UK-based cinematic production group first launched a zombie-style 'shooter' experience earlier this year, showcasing their creative film making with an actor running around a graveyard under the instruction of internet users, attempting to survive the onslaught of the undead. It was incredible.
And this sci-fi sequel is even better.
Once ChatRoulette users arrived at the Realm Pictures 'chat', they unwittingly began a first-person space adventure, telling the character they were watching what to do - culminating in an Aliens-esque mech showdown in some sort of lab-cum-silo.
Before you go rushing off to try it for yourself, you should be aware that Realm Pictures is no longer poised with actors and crew to offer you this immersive experience. All you'll find is regular ChatRoulette stuff - like penises.
So many penises.
