This is how Instagram, AirBnB and Angry Birds started out
Ever wondered what the creative processes behind these billion dollar ideas were?
Ever wanted to make a couple billion bucks quick? Can't be bothered to read the endless self-help books by self-made bores? Want to scan a couple of very nicely designed infographics and get the gist of how to make a future-proof start-up or media platform in less than a minute? Well designer Anna Vital's got just the set for you!
Look how easy these guys made Instagram. Just 8 weeks. Less time than it takes to catch up with Game of Thrones. Now you've got their cheat-sheet and the glorious benefit of hindsight, print off this process, get yourself on Code Academy, build the next big photo platform and give us a cut.
This guy kept going with his originally rubbish idea to make a virtual scrapbook until it became a less-bad idea called 'Pinterest.' There's about two years worth of abject failure and misery in the first sixteen steps of this infographic, and you could experience them all too (plus the big pay-off when your idea comes not-rubbish) if you follow your dreams! We are the wife encouraging you to quit your job in this situation, so please remember to give us a cut, again.
These guys have made an empire out of essentially letting people stay on their sofa. You've probably lent someone something in a past. Say, sugar, to your neighbour. Think carefully: could you have rented that sugar out for money? Could you have rented other people's sugar out? Now you've got a sugar-lending empire, the sugar AirBnB. Now you're richer than every bank in Switzerland. The first square of your infographic is reading this article. Give. Us. A. Cut.
We won't lie to you, you probably won't invent Angry Birds, but you could make something else using the same determination shown here. And then give is a cut. C'mon.
