Watch Timothée Chalamet in the latest trailer for 'Beautiful Boy'
It's our mate Timmy, and he's in a new film!
There he is, Timothée Chalamet, friend of ShortList and owner of fantastic hair, in what appears to be another barnstormer of a performance from the young actor.
The film’s called Beautiful Boy, and let us warn you now, it contains a hell of a lot of bloody acting, mate. Here’s the trailer:
Woah, see what we mean? Loads of looking and crying and staring into the middle distance and sitting down with hands on backs - you know, real thespian stuff, real Oscar-bothering malarky.
The film’s about a dad who’s desperately trying to save his son from the grip of drug addiction, and is based on a pair of memoirs, written by Nic and David Sheff (that’s Timmy and Stevo real-life counterparts, respectively). It’s also the first English-language film from director Felix Van Groeningen, known for his Belgian Academy Award-nominated The Broken Circle Breakdown.
Experience some absolute acting when it hits cinemas on January 18 over here in the UK. What a lark!
