'Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection' announced for PS4
"This game is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned."
That's how Neil Druckmann broke the hearts of thousands of UNCHARTED fans earlier this year when he announced that its fourth instalment, A Thief's End, was being pushed back from its 2015 release date to Spring 2016.
No one wanted Naughty Dog to rush their new title. No one wanted Drake's latest adventure to be filled with glitches and bugs. But many PlayStation 4 owners had been banking on the slick treasure pincher being their "Game of the Year". What were they going to get their thumbs stuck into now?
Sony's answer: UNCHARTED: The Nathan Drake Collection - a beefy, PS4-ready remake of the original trilogy of games. And to whet the appetite to salivating levels, Naughty Dog will be giving Collection owners a quick go on the UNCHARTED 4 multiplayer beta (as soon as it's ready).
Well, it's not the new game, but at least it's better than a "Sorry", right?
UNCHARTED: The Nathan Drake Collection arrives on PlayStation 4 on 9 October 2015
