Belgian kickboxing star Jean Claude Van Damme did some Van Damage in a Sofia bar after losing in an arm wrestling contest against Bulgarian locals.
The Muscles from Brussels is in the country shooting new film The Expendables 2, co-starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Let Li, and arrived at the bar at 4am with a group of friends he'd found in a local disco.
He proceeded to order vodka for everyone, challenged one of them to an arm wrestle, which he lost, and then discovered that his watch was missing.
Accusing his opponent of stealing the watch, he then proceeded to smash up a table and glasses in the Dinner and Snake bar.
"He was very angry and was pretty violent," said 34-year-old drinker Michaud. "He eventually left at around 8am. He was swaying and muttering to himself".
Who'd have thunk that Van Damme would be so keen to remind himself about the cruel hands of time?
