Halloween in the UK gets nothing like the recognition it does in the US. Chances are the best you'll get is a group of 16 year olds dropping fireworks in your letter box and blowing up the welly boots you've left in the front porch.
What we need is more people embracing the fun side of things. Like this chap:
"A few years back" said the maker "I built a giant Pac-Man costume at the last minute, but it wasn't good enough for a tinkerer, so I figured that there had to be a way to make it better.
"What better than to add a functioning mouth to the costume? Thus started the six week saga of making a giant working Pac-Man costume. These are not projects for the faint-hearted as they take a lot of hard work, and are very large at 5 feet tall and 2 feet wide."
