Drunk confessions. Banal searches. Countless muffled conversations with your pocket. If anyone were given the job of being your own personal Siri, we doubt they'd last longer than a week.
But what if Siri was a real person? What if there was a tiny disembodied searcher trapped in your phone, having to put up with your tedious requests? That's the premise of Yonatan Tal's short film, The Voice (Siri). Drawing inspiration from the likes of Her, this gorgeous animated entry to CalArts and Gobelins' 48 Hour Films project was made in just one weekend.
Whether you pester Siri or voice search tools with utter rubbish, or avoid them, this cute short might make you think differently about your smartphone's oft ignored voice. It probably won't, but it might.
