Who won goal of the weekend: Ricky Drury or Hatem Ben Arfa
While we saw some first-class net-smashers in the Premier League this weekend, the two finest goals came from further afield.
One a dribble so audacious it’ll have you dribbling yourself, the other an overheard kick in the final minute of an FA Cup game – have a gander below:
Ricky Drury
Ever watched the United Counties league? Us neither, but we’ll be paying more attention after seeing Holbeach United produce some early FA cup magic on Saturday, equalising four minutes into additional time when Ricky Drury dispatched an overhead kick against Worcester City. Oh, and he’s also their goalkeeper.
Hatem Ben Arfa
Yes, he once of the famous barcodes, Newcastle United, is now back playing in his native France for Nice. As his side trounced Saint Etienne last night, the little magician (because they're always little aren't they?) showed a display of dribbling usually only seen in computer games - culminating in a perfect finish. The Magpies will probably be wondering why they ever let him go.
